Pigface
Don't ask why these flowers have that name! There are several species here, some native and some introduced. They grow in the sand dunes beside the beach, performing the very important role of helping keep the dunes stable and minimising erosion.

it looks like our Carpobrotus edulis, fruits are edible, perhaps by the pigs ;-)
