A great capture despite the well meaning warning my friend. I see much fungi on my outings but am never tempted to pick and eat them as so many are dangerous to us.

Many thanks, Dan, I've now corrected my mosses/lichens. I think this fungus is probably one of the Amanita species.

Beautiful! You have more toxic and deadly things in Australia than anywhere else, I think.

Another wonderful image, George. At first I thought it was a small pumpkin. I guess I have "Halloween Brain" in addition to my Covid brain!! Hope you and yours are all safe and well. I'm mostly staying home lately, but going out to the Brooklyn Garden today for some fresh flower shots. This on the coldest day of the season so far! But it's the first sunny day in a while.
