I wanted a macro subject to test the new pocket camera: this small thistle (about 10-15mm across) was the first thing I found - and that probably says something about our gardening :).

hold it upright and all will be fine
a gentle breeze will whisk away
count how many for the time of day ;-)
some will float down to the ground
the rain will fall with a gentle sound
come the spring you will find
more little babies well defined
bright yellow just like the sun
then more weeding 4U ~ what fun ;-)
