Out in the Southern Ocean

Copied from an old slide. I mentioned in my previous shot about the thickening cloud. It foreshadowed an impressive storm shortly after we reached the Southern Ocean, lasting for about a week.

Impressive pictures of this storm ride. A trip to the Antarctic was unfortunately never granted to me. Sadly and dramatically the fate of the "Nella Dan" in 1987...
