HFF from Hussaini village
North Pakistan, nestled in the Karakoram Mountains on the Hunza River. This is a very long suspension bridge leading to a steep and narrow track on the other side, which climbs up to high meadows. It sways wildly and has big gaps between the steps. I have attempted this on a number of occasions, but my vertigo defeats me. My husband is crossing here, and the locals skip and dance across at high speed carrying big loads.
Have a lovely Friday and a cracking weekend….Diana ❤️

A winter adventure
A local scene that I have photographed many times but in this kind of weather comes into its own. As can be seen, recent storms have blown down quite a few trees around here completing a rather nice frame :)
Best full screen
Enjoy the weekend.

Seagull Nebula SH2-296
This was one that I wanted to come back to as I could rotate my view to suit the target much like I could when I used my 300mm Nikon lens and coloured camera. This was done as a 3 panel vertical panorama to get the whole of the spread of the wings. It was a case of for each panel I shot for 3 nights each to get enough data to get all the smaller parts to show up in detail. I shot at my summer temp of -0 as some of the days where well over 30c when I started hence the start temp of 0c rather than -10c. The value of the filters they show up considerably more details than the coloured camera ever could.
QHY268M -0c 3 days 5 min SHaO each panel, 30 shots each RGB 1 min exposure.

Ice Cathedral
In a natural glacier cave at approx. 2,500 metres above sea level. It is best not to go into the rear right-hand section. There is a huge slab of ice hanging there. (On the left in the picture with a head torch: my wife).

Baby owl in a santuary in Cheshire.
Taken some time ago , but recently re-discovered after I lost thousands of pictures due to a hard drive failure.
