Parisienne

Parisienne
"Parisiennes" used to be a brand of cigarettes popular in Switzerland in my distant youth.

Au Cœur... diagonalhorizon, Steve Bucknell, Richard Chamberlain, kiiti have particularly liked this photo

Warning : Parisienne is a brand of cigarettes made in Swiss Jura region but Parisiennes was a french brand of my youth whose particularity was to be sold in packs of four (very good for broke smokers)
In the two case , smoking kills !
Nowdays, parisiennes smoke american brands !

Oh, I didn't realize this. Yes, I remember those packs of four. Very seductive for junior smokers! :-) But happily, I quit thirty years ago.
Alas, still a lot of smoking in Paris, not so much in Switzerland.

In any contemporary French film you see they’re all still puffing away; still associated with youth and beauty and cool, I think, in French culture. I always think they live better, more stylish lives over the Channel, but smoking just makes you really malodorous.

Keeps you thin, though.

Yes, still lots of smoking at least in Paris, both among the young and the old. But much less vaping that what we see here in California where it's all the rage among the kids :-(

Ja, die "Parisienne" gibt es immer noch. Aber heutzutage erkennt man die Packungen wegen der Totenkopf- und Krebsbilder nicht mehr.
Mein Vater rauchte jeweils ab und zu eine "Mary Long". :)
