Posted this view before (on "that other" site.) It continues to interest me, philosophically as well as visually.
By way of explanation, my hometown of Grenchen has few distinctions, one of them being the place where billions of Swatch watches were and are being made.

Your hometown is a Swiss heritage site in its entirety, I believe. That's a big distinction. And they make lots of respected brands of watches.
And it sure is an interesting photo. Good stuff.

Hayek, President and Delegate of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group who donated this piece of public art to the city. It was part of the launch of the "Human Rights" Swatch, see: www.presseportal.ch/de/pm/100004013/100511434
Why in English? Because it's the lingua franca. So they didn't have to fight whether it should be in German or in French or both ...
Which is why French-speaking Swiss and German-speaking Swiss use English when they meet abroad. It simplifies the conversation ....
My hometown, as I may have mentioned before, won the contest for "ugliest town in Switzerland" for several years in a row. It's all relative ....
