1938 Chevrolet 00 20120804

This is the same '38 as in other photo [20100912] but the colour is a little off. - It took quite a bit of processing to get to this point as the exposure was completely messed up. I have several shots from this session with the same problem - overheating?? The camera temp reads 33 C. It was probably 33+ C (~91 F), windless and extremely bright. The camera operator was very near his heat tolerance limit too.

My previous Nikon did not have a lock for the program button and I would sometimes move it accidentally getting it in and out of the bag. My Canon locks in place. I noticed some of your darker exposures are set on landscape mode instead of auto exposure. I suspect that's the problem when shooting the closeups here.

Thanks for the hint. I normally shoot aperture-priority and took the EXIF "landscape" to mean physical camera orientation but fat-thumbed settings and inadvertent button pushing are well within my skill-set.

I lost a whole set of pictures at my grandson's wrestling meet with a bump of the program dial! Lighting was poor to start with and made far worse with the wrong program setting!
