this is one of those mini-fonts that often lurk unnoticed in corners of churches, used when fonts were missing or leaked, or just for convenience. this ceramic is missing a dove finial, but has relief stamps of a dove, hebrew yhvh, and a cross. probably c19

the door looks to be part of the woodwork made by the parish in the early c20, set into a c14 doorway, with a mid c14 canopy over the position of the original stoup, taken here by its replacement mortar.
