1649 glass sundial with painted fly, in the winchcombe pew on the north side of the church. the initials th,s and s go with the arms of stephens and stone, presumably thomas stephens and elizabeth stone, though they married in 1595. he was a successful london lawyer with property in gloucestershire, a descendant must have placed this in the pew in the early c19
