now a warehouse facing straight onto the railway station, this early c20 building with its symmetrical facade and eastern skyline must have gone down in the world considerably, now having three large central openings cut into its face. it looks like a small cinema or music hall, though facing onto the platform it does not appear to have formed any part of the original station building. only this facade has such detail; what was it ?
