view into the early c13 south transept, full of beautiful architecture and too much clutter. to the left can be seen the carrel with painted hand, to the right the extended south chapel. note the builders' bodge above the arches, where the arches are much thicker than the set-back wall, probably a result of the crossing being rebuilt last. the moulded arches and the capitals are superb.
