I purchased a new receiver to take the place of my venerable 1970s receiver. I wasn't interested as much in the radio tuner as being able to listen to vinyl and analog inputs. Disappointment followed. With the tech advances of the last 50 years, how can you produce something with inferior audio to a mid-range 1970s product? I ended up buying this refurbished 1970s receiver, and even though the tuner is f-ed up, the audio quality is far better.
