In the beginning ...

Not expecting a lunar eclipse, I initially blamed clouds and haze.
But at this point, I doubted that and looked for another explanation. And it turned out, I was at the right time to see a partial lunar eclipse during moonrise.

As I often watch eclipses, I am aware of the schedule in California and US west-coast -- but I did not check the astronomy calendar for events happening in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and the Azores.
