Avid Baker's challenge April 2012 ......... Made a whole wheat version and as always with American recipes left out the sugar. Also changed the size of the baking dish into a 9-by-9 inch pan. Haven't taste them yet but they're now in the freezer and planning to eat them on Easternday.

Made it a few weeks ago. Used (10) fresh red peppers instead of dried and extra garlic. Could not find masa harina and tried to bake tortillas from African white mais flower. After throwing this experiment in the carbage can I made some Wheat Flour Tortillas. We ate them with tomatos and a green salad. Big hit here and definitely not the last time I made them! Thanks Natashya!!
