Roger Dodger club has replied to HappySnapperDid the old PC fail due to a power supply failure? If so it may well have subjected components to an over voltage surge, I have had a HD corrupted like that in the past (disrupts the HD circuit board, I believe), only once fortunately and I heard the 'bang' as the PS went down!
