They certainly are, about to get in to the car when I heard this one singing from the guttering; thanks Mic.

It was certainly exercising its vocal chords; they are great little birds.

Of all our garden birds wrens have the biggest voices. A lovely photo of this flighty wee bird.

Apparently or surprisingly the most common bird in Britain ! (Could have fooled me), excellent shot though Roger.
Afraid I ditched my TZ60, I just couldn't get the hang of it and missing to many shots, Gone back to my TZ27 for the pocket and bought a FZ 82.

They are quite common, but generally manage to move inconspicuously and too quick, sometimes get lucky when they are otherwise occupied!
Pity you couldn't get on with the TZ60; before retiring, over past years I had used many small 'pocket' cameras out on site inspections, rather than carrying around a full size kit, found this one a good all rounder (this shot was at 35mm equivalent of 1600mm).
