The Tushielaw Inn
May 1989 -The Tushielaw Inn, Tushielaw, Borders, Scotland,
Formerly a coaching stop, Tushielaw Inn was originally built as a
drover’s halt and toll house. The present building dates back to the
1830’s and is located in an idyllic rural setting within the Borders.
Stopped here a few times driving across from Lockerbie to Edinburgh.
Nice inn with a good stock of tempting single malts, sad for the
duty driver!
Interesting old petrol pump!
Driving a group of Canadian family relatives from East to West, South to North mini-bus UK holiday sight seeing tour.
Scanned from 35mm negative. Camera was a Yashica D90 point and shoot
