Hardknott Pass is not for drivers of a nervous disposition! I went over it as a passenger and breathed a sigh of relief when we got to the end of it!!

You should have seen the faces of the relatives when I drove the minibus through both Wrynose and Hardnott, there was quite a lot of changing sides to get away from the windows!
