I suppose that's a chimney on the end, but there are no windows. It's a puzzle. Maybe it's a boathouse. All the spring flowers make a lovely picture. It's the kind of place that would make a good project to photograph all year round. I remember the advertisements and reviews for the Pentax SF1n and idly contemplating buying one. There's something almost hypnotic about camera equipment.

It's known as the Thomas Cole house. There are windows on the side. Obviously, it hasn't been inhabited for some time, and I wonder how much longer it will stand. As for the SF1n, it's the film camera I've used more than any others (I have 9)--53 rolls of film shot, and one in the camera. I love its heft. But these days I'm gravitating more toward medium format, and the 645 is even heftier than the SF1n, so that I'm reluctant to carry it on a hike.
