A colourful and cheery image Rosa..............I especially like the helter-skelter. It's nice to see people out and about again, and the beach doesn't seem too busy all things considered. The sky and the wispy clouds are lovely.

I like the PiPs too. The roller skating shot brings back memories..........I used to take my kids roller skating when they were young (and I was still fit). Good times.

Sophie looks lovely and has sensibly found some shade to sit in :-)

Thank you very much Keith. A great resort for young families. We also went along the coast a little to Bowleaze Cove before returning home.

I also used to take my girls roller skating. In fact my 47 year old daughter has just bought a pair of roller boots on ebay, the same as she had as a child. Luckily she still takes size 3 shoes. I think she had better get some arm and knee shields this time ;-))

Yes it was Nick. I don't remember the helters kelter being on the beach when we were kids, but that was a long time ago ;-))

Did you have a go on the helter skelter, Rosa? It certainly creates a very effective focal point in your photograph. The colours contrast perfectly with the blue of the sky.

Did you do a bit of roller skating, when you were in Weymouth?

Weymouth has always been a favourite of mine as well. My father used to take us there on every sunny Sunday during the summer, and then a visit to one of three aunties we had living there....happy days! One ice cream each Peter. It has to be done ;-)

Thank you dear Angelique. It is still compulsory to wear masks inside building, but not in the open air. My region of Somerset/Dorset has one of the highest rates of vaccination and lowest rates of C-19, I am pleased to say. We must get the world vaccinated and hopefully we will all be free again.

We didn't venture anywhere near a beach in Norfolk in half term - the prospect of too many people and not enough parking deterred us. It does look lovely and cool though. We did find a helter skelter for James though in a local temporary fair in Norwich, + some other dangerous rides which he loves.

Sorry I have taken so long to visit, I have had a really heavy head cold which I've decided
might be hay fever. Piriton is arriving from Sainsbury's today. Hopefully I'll be able to stop sneezing and see through my watery eyes.

Everyone seems to be visiting the coast at the moment Amelia! The car park that we usually use is generally half empty, but on this visit it was pretty full! Probably no more than 5 or 6 spaces.
I'm glad you found some rides that James loves! I like Norwich very much.

Oh dear, I hope the Piriton works well! I use it after I've been near cats and rabbits!!
