Hermoso paisaje verde del valle, desde un alto con algo de picado que así se alcanza más extensión. Los cuadros de terreno con los lindes arbolados animan el paisaje sacándolo de la uniformidad verde. Parece que cazaste también un grajo:--)

It's uphill all the way to reach this village Jose Manuel. It is worth it with the lovely views though :) I took three quick pictures of the landscape hoping to get the bird in one...I managed to get it in all three, so chose the best of them. Thank you for your kind comments.

A beautiful patchwork of green fields..............which looks gorgeous in the hazy sunshine. The house in the foreground anchors the shot nicely and I love the bird in flight.

I remember this as not all that far from the East Devon village of Ottery St Mary. We holidayed there once and went for walks in this valley and the surroundong hills which, although beautiful, were all long and flat-topped, from memory! A bit as you show here, in fact.

I think you must be thinking of a similarly named but different village Andy. Cucklington is only a few miles from Wincanton. The village is very high up and on three levels, but the vale is fairly flat along the middle, as you see here.

You are right i'm sure, Rosa! It does seem a long way off. I was thinking of the Blackmore Hills. If they are located in a different place then I agree with you but if they are the same area then I'm puzzled!!!!

I think you are thinking of the Blackdown Hills Andy, as they would fit where you describe. Partly in Somerset and east Devon, so around the Ottery St Mary area.
