The thatched building (minus the thatch) looks exactly like my old local, The Victory in Pinner High Street (long gone, sadly). It gave me quite a start for a split second!
I like these houses and streets of Cerne Abbas. Pleasing, without being in any way touristy or pretentious.

Like many a local unfortunately Andy. Not in Cerne though. They have 3 pubs! Although I have seen it called a town, I would see it more as a village with a great community. Their village hall holds many good events. Some of which I have been to.

Thank you Doug. The street goes on down to the mill and the remains of the Monastery.

Best wishes, Rosa.
