Tanners of Shrewsbury.

Tanners of Shrewsbury.
Parts of Tanners the wine merchants in Shrewsbury that the public does not usually see. We were privileged as were were on a guided tour of the film locations for the 1984 version of "A Christmas Carol" starring George C Scott and Edward Woodward.

Nicely composed captures, Rosa. You cought the mood very well.
I firstly came in touch with Christmas Carol when I spent my year in England. I got it told by a story-teller (not me alone!). It's 29 yrs ago and I still keep in my ears and my eyes what I heard and saw. ;-)

That is interesting Leon. If you have the chance or inclination to watch the film, I can recommend the 1984 version that was filmed entirely in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. It stars George C Scott and is on youtube. I especially like the opening music.
Best wishes, Rosa.
