Hi Andy, I read that book in 1999 but I don't remember his take on this area. I do remember what his views of Weston were though ;-) Time to read it again I think!

I'm reading it for a third time! I have to really ... I gave it as a set work to a few of my advanced English students. Still, I enjoy it and so do they!

I must look out for it in the charity shops Andy. That's who I gave mine to many years ago and now I think I would really like to read it again. He lives in Norfolk now I think.
