Paper collage on an old book cover. This is an old one, made for Scrapiteria's theme of the week, 'windows'.

My 'Rosebud'

"Rosebud" in reference to 'Citizen Kane', the film by Orson Wells, because a box of colors is the equivalent "Rosebud" in my childhood memories.
The photo is from a course I took two years ago, but since I have been packing all the week (rosebuds and scanner included, but found the photos in an external back-up disk) it resumes beautifully the current landscape around me, here :)

An old paper-cut-and-paste collage for Scrapiteria, with the theme "legs".
I am moving back to my country of birth at the end of the month. I should have been posting things I have been working on for an online course etc. (it keeps my mind away from the moving anxiety), but it is overwhelming. So bear with me for a while to abandon posting and above all, to look at your posts and interact, which is what I enjoy so much from ipernity. I hope to be more active by mid-March.

Las Lloronas

From the folkloric mythology of Latin America, the legend of the "Llorona" or "Weeping Woman" prevails for its presence. It is known from Chile to Mexico with variations, but keeping its essence based on a taboo: a mother that kills her child.
