A very strange fountain statue in front of the Prado museum. Not sure what it is, but it appears to be salivating copiously in anticipation of being given whatever it is the other figure is offering in her outstretched hand.

In the gardens behind the Prado. Compare with the much less interesting visible light shot here . Note one of the early appearances of the lens failure here, in the fuzziness at the top (ie: right side) of the image. By the end of this trip I noticed the bayonet mount was actually coming loose.
