A a first step, we need to get more people to join and perhaps persuade those that left to come back! If anyone is in touch with leavers on Flickr, for example, they should be advised of the good news!!!

I will post to flickr - and 23hq - any place I can.

We will need the new membership/official transfer to have taken place before we get people to join on in.

I am glad my comment worked for you. I even wrote to Christophe thanking him earlier today before we heard that he backed out (hopefully just for now).

My fingers have been crossed for so long that it is now their permanent state!

somehow that makes me think of that dance where one crosses legs over in front then behind in a line? let's get up and dance! we might as well as we obviously can't do anything else productive at this point.

These vicissitudes are quite enervating!
My grandmother used to say this and I had no idea what she was talking about.
