thanks so much. it was indeed a very dramatic cloud, but luckily there was enough blue sky around that it wasn't anything to worry about.

Thank you Peter. I think I like most color photos better on black - or at least isolated from the stuff on web pages. I find clouds hard to get in a way that really works for me, so I was happy to feel like this one worked.
