Mit den ersten wärmeren Tagen im April erscheint dieser kleine, hübsche Tagschmetterling, nämlich der Aurorafalter (Anthocharis cardamines) . Im Foto ein Männchen, das an einer Blüte der Knoblauchsrauke (Alliaria petiolata) Nektar saugt. Männchen erkennt man an den orangeroten Flecken auf der Flügeloberseite, die im gezeigten Bild durchschimmern, im Bild www.ipernity.com/doc/cammino/50691874 bei leicht geöffneten Flügeln deutlich zu erkennen sind. Die Knoblauchsrauke ist übrigens die wichtigste Futterpflanze der Raupen des Aurorafalters. Der 1963 gegründete Tierpark ist der einzige Zoo in der Uckermark. Er beherbergt auf einer Fläche von 7 ha etwa 250 Tiere in 45 Arten.
