Schon nicht ganz, Daniela. Man kann zwar vermutlich schon Bilder aus dem Zug machen, aber erstens nicht so scharf (durch die schmutzigen Zugfenster) und zweitens nicht so frontal. Da wäre dir nämlich der Bahnhof von Verbania-Pallanza (der ja eigentlich in Montorfano steht) im Weg ;-)
Nein, das habe ich ganz in Ruhe vom Parkplatz aus genommen.

Yes, Diane, it's really breathtaking! You can take it literally, especially when you have to breath the incredibly fine stone dust of the stone saws ;-)

I think it is marble, Diane.
But I couldn't get in this area. It was closed by a high fence. And it seems as the stone quarry is closed at the moment.

Yes, definitely marble. I meant that the dust might be like talc. The patterns and colors are so interesting.
