Definetly not a happy camper. Taken a few hours after surgery to put a pin in his broken leg. He was a stray, running with a pack of dogs that ran in front of my car. His story is in the description of his album.

Sonoran spiny-tailed iguana

This lizard is apparently one of a breeding population of sonoran spiny-tailed iquanas on the grounds of the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Tucson, Arizona. They are not native to the area but were apparently intentially released in 1970. This one has lost its tail which appears to be regenerating. (DSC03682)
