Ein Plattbauch-Weibchen am Apfelbaum. Der Plattbauch gehört zur Familie der Segellibellen und erreicht eine Spannweite zwischen 65 und 80 mm. Im Gegensatz zum braun/gelben Weibchen ist das Männchen blau gefärbt. Auch wenn sie am Apfelbaum sitzt, mag sie natürlich keine Äpfel sondern ernährt sich von Insekten.
