Cattle do that as well, one of the cows in the field over the road actually managed to hit one of her field-mates in the face. Cue a lot of bellowing and chasing - I think a bite or two were delivered, but the following day, they were grazing together, side by side this time !

I wish I had videoed or even had the camera to hand, but I was already busy gardening and only looked up by chance ...

I had spotted that the ponies had increased in number recently. When I was more able to roam about there were usually just sheep in that part of the Country Park. I think that the ponies have only been introduced in the past two or three years. As we had passed by the day before and seen that they were fairly close to the road, I returned with my camera and took a couple of dozen snaps. These are the better ones.
