I like the use of shade here, Phil. To my eyes it's like a mysterious view of a city of the future.

I am glad you like it, John. As I expect that you can work out, this was a development of the neighbouring image. Having added some borders to the initial shapes, the overall picture had its colouring changed by applying a 'Gradient map' and then a square shaped Color gradient was applied at an angle. That is what created the fuzzy shaded areas. As I have said before - it is easier to do than to explain.
