These are all my own original works made using Photoshop Elements 10.I frequently refer to them as doodles, as I rarely start with a clear idea of what the image should look like. The sugar rush from one too many squares of Lidl's Rich Milk Chocolate is to blame, I think!
It emanated from thinking that the previous mono marble picture should be installed in an impressive building's entrance atrium (wasn't it a foyer when I was growing up?) Clearly these are arty types heading in to an avant garde musical happening, or perhaps a new gallery opening.
The marbling is largely due to a Photoshop Elements effect called 'Paint daubs - sparkle'. which breaks the divisions between tones with ragged pale lines.
This mono version provides a great starting point for using Photoshop Elements 'gradients map', which takes all the different shades and applies sets of colours to them.
