Excellent composition. I would have tried to make the orange as bright as possible, but you took the wiser course, I think.

Thanks, John. I played about with the contrast for a while and this seemed about right, avoiding burning out the floor to the left, yet keeping details in the cars at a reasonable level. I don't find achieving a realistic look by 'dodging' and 'burning' areas of a photo very easy. So I tend to try adjusting the contrast across the whole image.
Seaside resorts and their development thanks to the arrival of railways is my fund-raising slideshow for next year. South coast fortifications that can still be visited will be 2021's theme. I am gathering material simultaneously. Hence my visit to Porchester Castle, and Southsea, which has a small castle and two piers.
