Island Flyer Southsea 11 7 2019

Island Flyer Southsea 11 7 2019
Britain's only commercial regular passenger hovercraft service runs from Southsea, neighbour of Portsmouth, over to Ryde on the Isle of Wight, just off the south coast of England. There are several parts of the Clarence Pier visible over the top of the craft, but one can see its fairly smooth lines in the adjacent photo of it under way across the Solent.

Nautilus, Ernest CH, Richard Chamberlain, SV1XV have particularly liked this photo

We took such a Hover in 1985 to go from Calais to Dover. It was with our camping car we had at that time.

I think that your hovercraft was a lot bigger than this one. This only takes foot passengers, no vehicles.
