Manhole pattern - rectangular to polar - glass buttons

This one started with one of Photoshop Elements 'patterns' - a herring-bone pattern called 'manhole'. I haven't really explored that section before. This pattern looks like an engine-turned surface. When treated with the polar coordinates filter, which turns rectangles into ovals and squares into circles, you get this rather nice effect.
