Telscombe Village - East Sussex - 20.10.2015

Telscombe Village - East Sussex - 20.10.2015
This is the old village of Telscombe. Among the trees is an ancient church & rectory. I didn't have time on this visit, which was itself well overdue, to go down into the village and photograph close-up. Next time I shall probably try to walk down through the village and on to Southease.
Telscombe town is a more recent development along the A259 coast road to the east of Brighton. It is behind the camera and over the hill from this location.

Yes, I am very versatile - I can do scary and peaceful! I am looking forward to having time to walk down into the village and on through to the valley beyond. As I don't have a car I have to be careful to choose times when there is a bus passing along the valley road, as I am getting too arthritic to walk more than 3km comfortably!
