Yacht & 3-master off Seaford Bay - 31.5.2015
I didn't notice the three-masted ship in the background at the time I took the photo. The yacht was well out into the bay and my 75-300mm lens was at its limit. When I saw the tall ship magnified on the screen I peered into the distance but could not see it with my naked eye. This is a fairly small section of the original image, taken as the Sun was setting, then brightened and sharpened in Photoshop..

I know what you mean, Ray, but in this case it was just invisible to me, even looking through the telephoto lens. Maybe, had I had my new glasses then, perhaps my poor old eyes could have caught sight of it!
