Restyling Brugge - b-cup poster -Bruges - June 2005

We stayed in Bruges, for a few days, during a three month marketing programme, aimed at creating a forward-looking impression of Bruges, for visitors and commerce. There was obviously a feeling that they had only been trading on their history and cultural past, without celebrating their innovation and current artistic output. This poster appeared in a number of shop windows - other manifestations of the restyling programme were clearly not so eye-catching - to me at least - as I don't seem to have snapped any more!
