Newhaven West Breakwater - 30.1.2014

The state of this seawall is the reason that the company that runs the harbour, heavily subsidized by the French local authorities at the other end of the ferry route, has barred the local population from the West Beach. Although they have had the beach declared their village green, the barriers still remain.
17.2.2014 I wonder what state it is in now after last Friday's storm. I must take a wander down there soon.
