Reed Bunting Tidemills 5.3.2012 nvg

A rather long-distance shot, for my lens at least, but I think the identification is OK. I can't see anything else with a dark head and such a pronounced collar.
Apart from this little chap and a bunch of red-shanks there was little to see today, in the brisk breeze, down at Tidemills. Plenty of sparrows tweeting in the bushes and maybe a chiffchaff or two. The river was fairly high following rain, so not much scope for the waders.
