Skate lunch - 30.7.2012
Hearing a bit of commotion outside the front of our house, I went out to find this going on. Fortunately they stayed around long enough for me to get my camera. Eventually they disappeared up a neighbour's driveway, so I don't know who got to have the skate!
The fish doesn't look big enough for a skate, but it is better known than many flat fish!

I think young Herring Gulls are really beautiful birds. They are just so pathetic and whine all the time for their parents to bring them food. Have a good weekend - if I haven't already said that elsewhere.
