Now has that inspired me to make the effort to climb Mount Caburn or saved me the bother? I see it from the railway between Newhaven & Lewes, but haven't yet summoned up the energy to climb it! Thanks for giving me a sneak preview!

Like you, I've travelled past many times and always though the view from up there must be great - as you can see, it is! Since your pictures will be so much better than mine, you should make the effort (at the cost of showing me up)

We walked up from Ringmer - it's a steady rise; from Lewes, there's a couple of tedious climbs, which didn't concern us and we were happy to descend.
