Hemaris diffinis - Snowberry Clearwing Moth .Some 'fake' being Bumble Bees
I have been trying to take a photo of this critter for some time. They will NOT sit/stay. Honestly... chasing them around the flowers with sweat dripping down my face and into my eyes..and glasses... sigh... Anyway... this was the best I could do !! I STILL cant get a closeup view ! I didnt even know what it was and finally got an ID from bugnet.com !

It's nice to see him in the cropped picture, but I really like this shot better with the flowers and the fence.

Me too Ron... it gives some relation to size. I just cropped as he is rather little !
