Sahalie Falls
A couple at the top of Sahalie Falls. This is part of the McKenzie River in central Oregon. Rain and snow melt percolate through the lava fields of central Oregon to feed the McKenzie River. Part of the McKenzie River then empties into my sink and shower.
Sometimes, people fling themselves over Sahalie Falls .
I prefer to stay on solid ground, and enjoy the rainbow .

Mount Washington (left) as seen from summit of Belknap Crater (right).
Both are volcanoes in the McKenzie Pass area of Oregon.
Belknap last erupted in 480 CE.
Washington a long time ago. So long that the soft slopes were pushed aside by glaciers during past ice ages. Leaving the peaked hard core that you see above.
