As I Watch’d the Ploughman Ploughing
As I watch’d the ploughman ploughing,
Or the sower sowing in the fields—or the harvester harvesting,
I saw there too, O life and death, your analogies:
(Life, life is the tillage, and Death is the harvest according.)

Busselton Jetty, WA. The longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere (per Wikipedia).

HFF everyone. I hope you are all safe and well and wish you an enjoyable weekend.

HFF, everyone. Keep warm (or cool, depending on location); above all, keep safe.
Protected

Alnmouth, Northumberland. Houses protected from the sea and wind by dunes.
An attempt to emulate both Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth. Minimal success, but the attempt was worth the effort, the time and the thought processes.
EDIT. Rather than "emulate", which is impossible to do given the collective visionary genius of Wyeth and Hopper, I was attempting to "echo" their vision. Still a feeble attempt, but still worth the effort.
Fresh

In Yorkshire - and maybe in many other places that I know nothing about - if the weather is "fresh" it is cold and with a biting wind. Fits the Bridlington coast perfectly, I think.
