Last day of the annual bulb show at the Smith College greenhouse. This year's theme was Monet's gardens at Giverny.

In person, did that background enhance the show or did it seem hokey? In the photo, it's wonderful.

They used Monet print fabric for the background, which was more effective than some past bulb show sets (the paper printed with Delft tiles comes to mind). I'm sure other people have gotten more arty shots, but this was the best I could muster given the crowds and the noon sun. As you know, I don't do pretty.
